Railway LC Gate Barriers

Railway LC Gate Barriers are automatic access control systems with zinc-coated CRCA steel cabinets and galvanized, color-coated finish. Featuring tapered aluminium boom arms with dual side steel counterweights, 8–10 second rising/lowering operation, microprocessor-based control, integrated safety sensors, and optional LED indicators, these barriers ensure secure and efficient management of railway and traffic intersections.

How it works

The operating principle

Upon receiving a command from the control switch or access control system, the Boom Barrier controller activates the motorized power unit and initiates the operating cycle.

The DC motor drives the geardrive, generating crank rotation integrated inside the Boom Barrier gearbox assembly.

Crank movement drives shaft rotation which enbales raising or lowering of the Boom Barrier Arm, while integrated LED indicators and audible warning systems operate simultaneously during movement for enhanced operational safety and visibility.
