Long Arm Barriers (9M)

Long Arm Barriers are automatic vehicle access systems with zinc-coated CRCA steel cabinets and aluminium boom arms with steel counterweights. Featuring one support, microprocessor-based control, integrated safety sensors, and 8–10 second rising/lowering operation, these barriers ensure secure and efficient traffic management at industrial complexes, and high-security areas requiring extended boom reach.

How it works

The operating principle

Upon receiving a command from the control switch or access control system, the Boom Barrier controller activates the motorized power unit and initiates the operating cycle.

The DC motor drives the geardrive, generating crank rotation integrated inside the Boom Barrier gearbox assembly.

Crank movement drives shaft rotation which enbales raising or lowering of the Boom Barrier Arm, while integrated LED indicators and audible warning systems operate simultaneously during movement for enhanced operational safety and visibility.
